Mike Dery

Michael Dery is a senior leader in Conway MacKenzie's valuation services group with more than 15 years of experience providing business valuation, financial advisory, and litigation support services to public and private companies.

His work spans solvency opinions, bankruptcy and reorganization matters, shareholder disputes, mergers and acquisitions, purchase and sale advisory, and other corporate and litigation-related engagements.

Mr. Dery has delivered valuation services across a broad range of industries including automotive, aerospace, automobile and motorcycle dealerships, retail grocery chains, investment funds, residential and commercial real estate development, large-scale entertainment events, discount retail, and cryptocurrency. His client experience ranges from local small businesses to regional middle-market enterprises and billion-dollar organizations.

In transaction advisory roles, Mr. Dery has led buy-side financial due diligence engagements, including quality of earnings analysis, EBITDA assessment, working capital reviews, and operational and valuation analysis for multiple stakeholders in merger and acquisition environments.

Prior to joining Conway MacKenzie, Mr. Dery served as an Associate in the audit practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers. There, he performed year-end financial statement audits, quarterly reviews, and Sarbanes-Oxley internal control reviews. His clients included Ford Motor Company, Tier 1 and Tier 2 automotive suppliers, and nonprofit organizations.

At Story House, Mr. Dery oversees financial strategy, capital structuring, valuation modeling, and risk management across real estate development, studio infrastructure, and media production initiatives.
